Copy/Paste of text containing a [!NOTE] does not correctly render the note markup after pasting the text.
To Reproduce
With the following example, the initial rendering properly shows the NOTE entry with the proper nice formatting.
Some sample text saying really important things.
> [!NOTE]
>
> A note about the important things.
Some more stuff about the things.
However, selecting the note block, copying (or cutting) to the clipboard, then pasting it, results in a rendering with the raw [!NOTE] text displayed in the block rather than the blue markup rendering.
With the above example, a cut/paste of the block quote to move it below the second bit of text results in the attached screenshot.
Toggling back and forth to/from Source Code Mode does not resolve the issue.
