Copy/Paste in Table sometimes goes in adjacent cell

Describe the bug
When editing a table, sometimes the copy/paste operation puts the contents in the cell immediately to the right of the selected cell. Does not always happen but it does happen about 50% of the time.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a Table. Mine is 4 colums by 99 rows.
2. Select text to copy then Control-C to copy contents of a cell.
3. Go to an empty cell then Control-V to paste contents into cell.
4. If it does it correctly, try copy/paste of different data.
5. Repeat 4 until it pastes into wrong cell.

Expected behavior
Expected pasted contents to appear in selected cell.
