I would like the ability to define my own theme if possible. Or, since I already style my tables, provide an option to return the glossary as a table.

For a document I'm currently writing, a bunch of glossary entries are multi lines. I now even wanted to include code snippets show examples of formats. The default output had some issues with indenting the blocks correctly, so I was looking into alternatives.
Using the built-in term lists seems to work just fine! I have a quite simplified rendering function like this now:
