Cross-project branch merge request fails

Hello,

I am trying to merge branches from two different projects. The user has owner access to both projects.

           MergeRequestCreate mergeRequestCreate = new()
            {
                SourceBranch = sourceBranch,
                TargetProjectId = targetProject.Id,
                TargetBranch = targetBranch,
                Title = $"Merge from {sourceProject.PathWithNamespace}:{sourceBranch} to {targetProject.PathWithNamespace}:{targetBranch}",
                Description = sourceProject.PathWithNamespace != targetProject.PathWithNamespace
                    ? "Merging changes from another project's branch"
                    : "Merging changes from another branch"
            };

            MergeRequest mergeRequest = client.GetMergeRequest(targetProject.Id)
                .Create(mergeRequestCreate).;

However, I get 403 error on the Create(mergeRequestCreate) method above. Am i doing something wrong? I believe the SourceProjectId property is missing from the MergeRequestCreate object.

Hi @pkenterlis, it's not very clear but the source project is passed as parameter when you retrieve the IMergeRequestClient:

MergeRequest mergeRequest = client.GetMergeRequest(<sourceProjectId>)
                .Create(mergeRequestCreate).;
