When ZFS is removed, will it still be possible to layer the package? |
Please reconsider this decision As we use Linux, installing the OpenRazer daemon can be a task in itself. Especially when you use an immutable distribution. Aurora has been one of the easier distros to use as it's been built in, and to learn that it's going to be removed is a sour thought for me. While the supposed web site will support this, neither of my devices are supported by it and yes, I understand it's a beta and subject to change, it's not there yet. |

Docker packages are now available in -dx. Also Nvidia images for Beta are also now availabble! Also Nvidia beta ISO can now be found here: ISO testing |

I have what might be a dumb question. I was planning on installing the AMD Beta ISO. I assume once the release is final, an update will be pushed? Or will I need to rebase. Thanks! |

Im currently running testing, but Im struggling to change the login wallpaper, was easy with SDDM but now thats removed, changing the wallpaper is ignored, I set it, and when the lock screen kicks in, its back to the dafualt, no disrespect, but I really do not like the theme choice at all, and the login screen is just not my bag, I like Aurora, but the theming is pushing back to just running Bazzite, even though I dont play games on this machine, would prefer anything other than the one forced in Aurora. |

Ah, I didn't realise they had separate wallpapers, I'm a dumb a$$, just changed both, I never noticed this in the past, I don't remember seeing separate wallpapers for these in the past, but I also never used Aurora on my daily driver, I have been using it for my wall mounted control panels, which are on 24/7 and don't actually sleep, I normally run Bazzite, and the theming on that OS is nice by default and doesn't bug me.....first world problems :) So far Aurora 44 has been excellent, no major issues I can find, Distrobox is working great, all the hardware in my Latitude 7210 is working perfectly, have yet to test the GNSS module, but Cellular, Wifi 7, BT5.x all functioning perfectly, the only bugs/niggles I see, are purely around KDE, app scailing, onscreen keyboard etc, and are common across every platform, including vanilla Fedora KDE, still want to test Plasma-Bigscreen as this functions on Bazzite currently, most people won't care about this but its nice to have these interfaces on a device I travel with. |
