Nautilus not launching consistently on Bazzite Nvidia Gnome

Describe the bug

Nautilus (Files) does not launch consistently. It fails approximately every 2nd or 3rd time, making it impossible to manage files. Even worse, it triggers browser crashes when trying to save or open files via the file picker.

What did you expect to happen?

Nautilus/Files app to launch consistently without errors.

Hardware

Nvidia GPU; the rest is probably not relevant for this issue.

Extra information or context

Rebasing onto the older version 43.20251210 fixes the issue - probably due to the older Nvidia drivers as discussed on reddit.

the nautilus process gets stuck, if its not opening just issue killall nautilus and try again, it will open successfully the second time. My current workaround is to keep it open in the background
