I'd like to apply to become a maintainer of this project, as I feel I've been contributing to it for quite a while (almost a year as of now!).

+1. Your refactor was well done and it would be great to have someone who is specifically in charge of watching this repo. Our charts are referenced by others often, so the more confidence we have that they are being maintained, the better!
