Twig node or text nodes in doc ?

Hi,

I use TipTap to allow some non-tech customers to update basic email templates.
Those templates uses Twig as template engine.

My problem is that I want to add some Twig if / else statement outside any paragraph.
For example:

{% if someVal %}
<p>Lorem ipsum</p>
{% endif %}

When I'm using TipTap, the HTML is transformed, adding a lot of paragraphs:

<p>{% if someVal %}</p>
<p>Lorem ipsum</p>
<p>{% endif %}</p>

Is it possible to have plain text inside the root node?
Or add an extension to consider {% xxx %} elements as nodes (and not add HTML tags)?

I tried a looooot of stuff, without success...
