Force enable Always on Display

Hi, thanks for making this project, i like it since most features works specially additional blur feature. So i would like to request a feature to force enable Always on Display on non-AMOLED display. I acknowledge that it drains batter quicker on non-AMOLED displays, but that would be nice for anyone that likes to use Always on Display a lot and still not bother to change their phone.

Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro
ROM: MIUI 12.5.6.0 RGGIDXM

It already enables the required properties, but your device doesn't ship with the system apps required, and it probably wont work as you expect even if you try to enable it. But nevertheless you can try to manually install the Always On Display application and see if you get the options in settings.

Ok, i have just tried installed this app as privileged app using magisk module i've built along this module, but that option still does not appear in lock screen.

Additionally i've seen X emoji beside XML status, that means no XML changes applied right?

Uh yes, I'd try uninstalling the module, rebooting, and reinstalling it..
Then see if the XML changes function properly.

I just checked dumps, it is located at a different location in MIUI. I will add support for it in the next version.
