Describe the feature you are requesting, as well as the possible use case(s) for it.

If we are giving hashs and SBOM of EOS to the users, they should be able to reproduce the build from the same source and get the same binary image with the same hash.

Inspect the capability of Buildroot to produce reproducible builds. Also - inspect Unikraft unikernel and it's guarantees of reproducible builds.

Indicate the importance of this feature to you.

We have been discussing with Danko with the possibility of disk encryption, this may no longer be necessary. I have been looking at other ways of doing the encryption but still in the formative stages -- using UEFI applications. So still working on that research a bit.
