Allow client to view his data?

Is it possible in Umami, for each website to have the client see the data? (So not with a new seat, just a read-only view of everything).

Short answer: not really, at least not out of the box.

Umami doesn’t have a proper “read-only client view” or role-based access per website yet. Access is basically tied to users, and once you add someone, they get broader access than just a strict read-only dashboard for a single site.

Common ways people handle this:

• Create a separate user and only assign them to that website (still not strictly read-only though)
• Share exported reports/screenshots
• Or build a small custom dashboard using the API (read endpoints) and expose only what the client needs

So yeah, it’s a known gap — no clean “client-only / read-only” access feature right now.
