Brave Shields blocks gateway-us.umami.dev/api/users/*/websites causing dashboard to fail

Describe the Bug

Since today, the dashboard shows "Something went wrong" in Brave.

DevTools shows:

net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

Requests being blocked:

https://gateway-us.umami.dev/api/users/<id>/websites
https://gateway-us.umami.dev/api/users/<id>/websites?search=&pageSize=100

Findings:

• Chrome works normally
• Disabling Brave Shields immediately fixes the issue
• Clearing storage/cookies does not fix it
• Issue started recently (worked previously)

Same issue with UBlock origin.

It looks like a commonly used blocklist, EasyPrivacy, had "||umami.dev^" pushed to it 15 hours ago causing this issue.

Here's the issue that most likely caused this: uBlockOrigin/uAssets#33120

I opened an issue mentioning this on ublock to hopefully get this resolved: uBlockOrigin/uAssets#33133

as the person who originally flagged umami.dev, there's some irony to having a privacy shield on and tracking your users at the same time

Hey @VillainsRule I completely understand the irony, thinking about it from a privacy perspective, the irony is definitely there. However, Umami is a privacy-first analytics platform: no cross-site cookie tracking, no invasive tracking, just stupid-simple analytics for devs who are trying to get a gauge on how their users are using their apps so that they can keep improving them--which is the reason that I, as well as many other devs, use it (as compared to using invasive analytics platforms like google analytics).

As a privacy freak myself I understand the concerns you have. Your data is being taken by people and companies you don't even know. But, as a dev on the other side of that, we truly cannot grow our apps without some sort of signal that tells us how are users use our apps, where they run into bugs, what they like (and what we should push), and so much more. I'm very proud to be able to use Umami which allows me to develop my apps without being invasive on user data.

Regardless, I hope that issue that will fix this gets looked at soon 😩.
