It does not respect registry settings from npmrc with npm v10 (works with npm v11)

Hello there,

We use a custom npm registry, and we're getting this issue during install using npm 10, but not npm 11

It says 401, but we do have the correct token, and things generally work fine; the issue happens only with the napi-postinstall

I was able to overcome it by copying the .npmrc to the home
cp .npmrc $HOME/.npmrc
