Input Overlay not working properly with GTA Online

Describe the bug
When using the wasd-minimal as well as my custom was-minimal + mouse presets with Input Overlay, testing both versions 5.0.6 and 5.1.0 while recording GTA Online, specifically, everything works fine for around 6-9 minutes. Then the keyboard portion of the overlay will freeze on the last given input at the time of freezing. The mouse portion will stay fully functional. I've tried other games, this only happens in GTA Online for me and in GTA it is 100% consistent. Never gotten past the 10 minute mark without it freezing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Launch GTA with a game capture and Input Overlay. Go drift or do something else input intensive for 6-9 minutes roughly. Then it will freeze up the keyboard part of the overlay.

Expected behavior
Well, for it to just continue working as intended, like in all other games.

Shouldn't be needed. The problem is pretty self-explanatory.

Additional information:

• 5.0.6 and 5.1.0
• It's the exact same as in Error when Loading plugin #424 just a spam of:
  get_keyboard_layout_file [473]: RegOpenKeyEx failed to open key: "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts\0"!
  refresh_locale_list [653]: Could not find keyboard map for locale 00000000041D0809!

Additional context
Language and Keyboard settings are both Swedish, but region setting is EN (UK). My keyboard is an ancient Logitech one. We're talking around 18 years old here. Removing Input-overlay from OBS stops the locale error spam entirely.

It does not. My 5.1.0 log was completely clean, there was a slight audio buffering issue on launch, but it sorted itself and during the actual recording there wasn't a single thing logged. But the keyboard portion still stopped working, just like before.

was the only thing in the entire log relating to input overlay that may be a culprit. Should I try and recreate a whole new json in io.cct and see if that helps?
