OBS crashes after installin input-overlay

Describe the bug
OBS started to crash after i installed input-overlay, since then I have 9 crash logs.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install input-overlay plugin.
2. Use OBS.
3. Get crash in random (?) moment.

Expected behavior
OBS to not crash.

• Plugin version: Version 5.0.6-HEAD-c99a526 build on 2024.10.24 17:23

Additional context
I use Replay Buffer on both instances of OBS at the same time:

• 1 OBS with single plugin installed (input-overlay);
• 1 portable OBS without plugins.

input-overlay is used only on a specific scene, which is used rarely. OBS crashes even when scene is not in use.

Same issue, seems that the plugin is doing something with a websocket remaining open. after uninstalling obs then reinstalling it, the installer says that chrome is still using obs files. mouse lags too after trying opening obs for the first few seconds

It seems like the crashes might be related to how the input-overlay plugin interacts with the OBS websocket layer, as @JoshM483 suggested. Have you tried checking the websocket connections when OBS crashes? Also, consider testing with a clean OBS profile to rule out any conflicts from previous settings, especially since you mentioned using the Replay Buffer in multiple instances. You could also examine the crash log for any specific error messages related to websocket failures that might give more insight into the issue.
