  A complete pfSense-style package. When it all comes together, we should have a working package for pfSense.

• pfSense UI

  User-interface elements for pfSense for starting and stopping the UniFi Controller service and reporting on its status. Initially, this would just be the start and stop methods. Bringing in data via the API will be useful, however.

• FreeBSD port

  A FreeBSD port and package that specifies dependencies and automates installation of the UniFi Controller software. Because pfSense packages are built around FreeBSD binary packages, we'll need a FreeBSD port and package that installs the UniFi controller.

• FreeBSD rc script

  A FreeBSD-style rc.d startup and shutdown script for starting and stopping the UniFi Controller software using the standard BSD services framework. The purpose of this script is to start and stop the UniFi controller service (a java app) in the usual way on a FreeBSD system.

  A simple, automated installation script that is concise, consistent, and reliable. The goal is to cover everything required for a fully-automated installation. If we can install it and get it running with one command, we can develop a reliable package.
