Hello everyone,
I’m trying to test an Uno Platform app on my iPhone and keep running into issues. After several hours, I still can’t get it to work.
Environment:
What happens:
When I choose “Run on local device” for iOS in Visual Studio (on Windows), the app fails to start.
I get this exception at runtime:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Maui.Controls, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies.
The build log doesn’t indicate that the Mac was used for the build.
Questions:
Notes:
I expected pairing to a Mac to handle the iOS build automatically, but it seems not to be happening.
The MAUI assembly error is confusing because this is an Uno Platform app (not MAUI).
Thanks in advance!
