State of this project and sponsoring options ?

shadcn-vue and the related reka-ui are great and useful tools for VueJS developers. What is the current state of the project and how can we financially provide support for the main maintainers for both projects? Asking as it seems like momentum slowed down a bit during the last months. Zernonia set up a support badge for this project, is that the way to go? Cheers 👍

Curious, too. I'm getting back into Vue dev and am looking for the gold standard for accessible components. Love shadcn and react and would love to continue working with it in Vue.

Is the recent slowdown in maintaining of radix-primitives going to have any affect on shadcn-vue?

I think the gold standard will likely wind up being / already is nuxt ui. With the race towards AI, I see the free release of nuxt ui pro to be an effort to keep vue/nuxt in the game. Myself, and many others are likely watching react/shadcn get all the cool new stuff when it comes to UI components for AI tools/experiences. The momentum behind shadcn on the react side is just too strong to compete with in this project, and something like nuxt ui with its paid / corp supported team now has at least a fighting chance.

In my opinion, it was a fun project but I find it a little too "hobbyist" to be considered for long-term production use. Understandably, @zernonia is likely swamped with things outside of this project. The issues list is somewhat stagnant, and it worries me that people are left holding the bag when it comes to issues like charts, auto-form, etc that seem to have been abandoned. The discord is not as active with people offering help as one would hope (compared to nuxt's discord, for example). Nuxt 4 support, something that this lib is likely critical path for many projects, is still a wip as well.

I use shadcn vue for all my production builds 🥲🥲 will be sad to go away, but don't see how it can compete with a funded team
