what model should be passed for deepseek. the current model passed in the doc is not working and in response we get

You should be able to pass deepseek-chat as model, like this:

  timeout,
  body: {
    model: "deepseek-chat",
    messages: [
      {"role": "system", "content": "You are a helpful assistant."},
