ScopeWeaver is an open-source project maintained by URAI. We want the project to be useful, technically rigorous, and welcoming to contributors, users, and maintainers.
This Code of Conduct defines the standards for participation in the ScopeWeaver community and the process for addressing unacceptable behavior.
People participating in the project are expected to:
- communicate respectfully and in good faith
- focus discussion on the technical topic rather than the person
- give and receive feedback constructively
- assume incomplete understanding before assuming bad intent
- respect different backgrounds, experience levels, and viewpoints
- help maintain a professional and collaborative environment
The following are not acceptable in project spaces or when representing the project publicly:
- harassment, intimidation, or sustained hostility
- insulting, demeaning, or derogatory personal remarks
- discriminatory behavior or language
- sexualized language, imagery, or unwanted advances
- threats, stalking, or deliberate intimidation
- publishing someone else's private information without permission
- trolling, baiting, or intentionally disruptive behavior
- repeated bad-faith engagement that derails collaboration
This Code of Conduct applies in:
- the repository, including issues, pull requests, reviews, and discussions
- project communication channels maintained by the project
- public spaces when someone is acting as a representative of ScopeWeaver or URAI in relation to the project
Project maintainers and designated representatives of URAI are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards.
They may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, discussions, or other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct. When appropriate, they may also warn, temporarily restrict, or permanently remove participants from project spaces.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, do not raise it in a public issue if doing so would expose private or sensitive information.
Until dedicated contact details are published, report Code of Conduct concerns through the private contact channels made available by URAI or directly to the project maintainers through the project organization's official channels.
Reports should include, where possible:
- what happened
- when and where it happened
- links, screenshots, or other relevant evidence
- any immediate safety or privacy concerns
Maintainers will review reports as promptly and fairly as practical. Responses may include:
- a private clarification or warning
- moderation of content
- temporary restrictions from participation
- permanent removal from some or all project spaces
Maintainers will make a good-faith effort to protect the privacy and safety of reporters.
This Code of Conduct was informed by widely used open-source community standards, including the Contributor Covenant v2.1, and adapted for ScopeWeaver and URAI.
