Bug Description
When writing markdown formatted comments on tickets I am applying certain formats (like lists or adding line breaks between paragraphs), after I submit the formatting becomes broken.
- Line breaks are not respected
- If list items are used then text following those items is indented as well, trying to edit the comment results in this text becoming "stuck" and unable to escape the list
Steps To Reproduce
Paragraph breakage:
List item breakage:
as you can see non-items are being indented
Expected Behavior
Markdown formatting in the comment dialog should be applied as expected
Actual result
Line breaks are not being respected and lists are inappropriately capturing outside text
