[Feature request] Integrate percona operators for HA databases

Hi,

would it be possible to integrate percona operators into lagoon-remote, to be able to have highly available databases inside the cluster?

Reading the documentation I thought HA databases were possible already and got me very excited, but turns out the databases still have to be managed elsewhere.

Is this something that could be added to the project one day?

Currently, you'd be able to use percona-operators now, you would just provision them yourself outside of Lagoon, and configure them as providers in the dbaas-operator providers. Generally, Lagoon, with the dbaas-operator, will provision many environments to one provider, rather than 1 environment to 1 provider.

Can you describe a bit more about how you would see the use of percona-operators though? As part of an environment build phase? Pre-installed for use with the dbaas-operator to use as a shared backend?

Pretty much this. That it comes pre-installed with Lagoon, so when deploying an application users have the option to use an external managed database, a cluster-internal (highly available + scalable) database or just a database inside a pod without HA.

With the additional option of having an in-cluster scalable database, Lagoon would solve going from development to production without having to rely on a 3rd party for a database.
