Intelligent Mobile Development

What is the class about?

  1. Investigating the interaction between people and mobile devices
  2. Creating compelling mobile applications and services
  3. Project-based class
    • Design, build, and document a novel mobile application
    • Final conference-style reviews
  4. Classes split into lecture and studio/sharing/review time
    • Attendance and participation expected
    • Some small assignments along the way

Android Developer Fundamentals

  • In the Android Developer Fundamentals course, you learn basic Android programming concepts and build a variety of apps, using the Java programming language.
  • You start with Hello World and work your way up to apps that schedule jobs, update settings, and use Android Architecture Components.

Assessment

  • Assignments: 30%
    • Upload 10 screenshots (from week-2 to week-11) to your github following the Assignments.md before 20 DEC 2020.
    • Check your GitHub Url in the form.
  • Final Report: 70%
    • Use the Report Template and write your own project report.
    • To design and develop your own app including the Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) features.
    • Send your report with the filename “StudentID-Name.doc/pdf” to [email protected] before 20 DEC 2020.
