Grid2Time segmentation fault (core dump) for 3D velocity model

Hi @alomax,

I am trying to use Grid2Time to solve for travel time grids for a somewhat large 3D velocity model, but it is throwing a core dump error. It is roughly 400x400x100 nodes and is about 70 MB. Is the segmentation fault due to a grid simply being too large? My computer has more than enough memory to accommodate it otherwise.

Hi Brenton,

I do not see any problem with 400x400x100 nodes if you have sufficient memory. I think I have run models and travel-time grids of roughly that size.

Most likely there is some other problem.
Was the model grid created on the same system and binary architecture as you are running Grid2Time?
