file can't be opened when trying to run windows 11

hello :)

when I try to create a new VM and download windows 11 on my Mac, it always ends up on a screen saying "the file couldn't be opened", but I downloaded the iso from the suggested website and select it as the "boot iso image" as suggested. is this an issue on my mac or my part? I'm following all other suggested steps as well.

this may be a very simple fix and I might just be dumb and selecting the wrong thing or something, haha, but thanks for your help in advance <3

If you haven't already, please upgrade your macOS. There are known issues with 15.0
