Question: Can drei be moved into "peerDependencies" or be specified with a "*" for the version?

We are currently in the process of giving all pmndrs libs support for to react-three/fiber v9 and drei v10 (which have rcs). Having r3f-perf installed in any example will prevent using the latest version since drei v9 is specified as a dependency here. Any solution would be welcome since I currently have to completly remove r3f-perf from all the pmndrs/uikit examples since that would block testing them with react 19 and r3f v9.

Sadly, the package does not seem to get much maintanance anymore.
My workaround is to use the overrides section in the package.json for now
