chore: shift all javascript to scripts.js

Right now some javascript functions are defined in geo-ndxr/prototype-dev/connecting-pieces/index.html.

We should shift these function definitions to scripts.js. (index.html loads everything inside of scripts.js). Please test map functionality after making this change - we've defined these functions in HTML for now because they weren't immediately working when imported from scripts.js
