Debian 11 went EOL last year and isn't supported anymore https://www.uyuni-project.org/doc/2025.07/release-notes-uyuni-server.html#_debian_11_end_of_life. Debian 13 support is planned for next year. |

We have only used uyuni for oracle9 hosts 'till now - but have been asked to support debian11 and 13.
I have been having trouble setting up the repos tho;
`uyuni-server:/ # spacewalk-common-channels -l | grep debian-13
uyuni-server:/ # spacewalk-common-channels -l | grep debian-11-amd64
debian-11-amd64-main-backports-uyuni: amd64-deb
debian-11-amd64-main-security-uyuni: amd64-deb
debian-11-amd64-main-updates-uyuni: amd64-deb
debian-11-amd64-uyuni-client: amd64-deb
debian-11-amd64-uyuni-client-devel: amd64-deb
uyuni-server:/ # spacewalk-common-channels -u admin 'debian-11-amd64*'
SUSE Multi-Linux Manager password:
ERROR: debian-11-pool-amd64-uyuni could not be found at the server
ERROR: debian-11-amd64-main-backports-uyuni: redstone.xmlrpc.XmlRpcFault: unhandled internal exception: User 1 does not have access to channel debian-11-pool-amd64-uyuni or the channel does not exist
uyuni-server:/ # spacewalk-common-channels -u admin \
How come there is no channel for debian13 ? Can we expect one soon ? Is there a standard way to add one ?
Whats going on with debian-11-pool-amd64-uyuni ? Why doesnt it exist ? Why is it trying to find it, even tho I am NOT specifying it ? Is this a bug, or am I just doing it wrong ?
Thanks in advance.
