hilla endpoint generator not working

Describe the bug

I have one endpoint in my project, vaadin version is 25.0.0-beta2. The generator fails with "Error [ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND]: Cannot find package '@vaadin/hilla-generator-plugin-transfertypes' imported from C:\Users\bernd\IdeaProjects\my-app\node_modules@vaadin\hilla-generator-cli\GeneratorIO.js"

Reproduction

new spring starter project, set to 25.0.0-beta2, add one endpoint and try to generate

Does not reproduce in a new project with 25 beta2 and one endpoint. Maybe something went wrong during npm install and only part of the packages are installed. Otherwise, could you provide the test project?

I stripped the project down to the bone, clean installed, threw away node_modules and so forth, but the error persists. Please take a look here, hope you can reproduce: https://github.com/berndhopp/vaadin-generator-bug-reproduction/

If I start the project in dev mode as mvn, it works
It I build the project in production mode as mvn install -Pproduction, it works

But does mvn vaadin:generate work? when I clean install with -Pproduction and run mvn vaadin:generate afterwards, this happens:

It seems there is some weird logic that installs those only if there is what it calls "Hilla view" available. If you do

mkdir src/main/frontend/views && echo "const a=1;" > src/main/frontend/views/hello.tsx

and run install again, then vaadin:generate works after that also..

I would argue it's still an error, since the behavior is not documented and it should be possible to generate endpoints for single ts components only.
