Under "About Vac" this sentence is currently live: "We do applied research based on which we build protocols, libraries and publications."
I'm not entirely up to speed on what this should say, but knowing that, my recommendation for the entire paragraph is:
"Vac builds public good protocols for the decentralized web. As an integral part of the Logos collective, Vac is composed of R&D Service Units, Incubator Projects, Deep Research, and the RFC (specification) process for Logos projects. We do applied research to build protocols, libraries, and publications that support our ecosystem. As custodians of these protocols, our aim is to adhere to a set of principles that ensure their alignment with our core values and objectives."
