Setting for an old tearing feature?

Please excuse me if this is already a setting, I'm entirely new to this concept of NTSC-SC and retro videos overall. I recently discovered over 10 years of old footage and noticed that our old family camcorder (which I believe was shot on a Sony handycam from 1993/4) had this horizontal 'tearing' that would happen at times. Is there a way for me to replicate this?
