Description
Per my discussion today with @xiaoumc, I realize that we need to really be able to see the difference in relative and absolute changes per taxa. One way we can do this is to look at the fold change.
| - | Total Abundance | Firmicutes Abundance | Relative Firmicutes Abundance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Control | 1000 | 10 | 10/1000 = 0.01 |
| Stress | 2000 | 100 | 100/2000 = 0.05 |
| - | Total | Absolute | Relative |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fold Change (Astress/Acontrol) | 0.5 | 10 | 20 |
We can add this to the statistical analysis for abolute and proportionate taxa tables at some point.
