I'm pretty sure this is a pipedream, but a slider for frequency division between two separate compression bands would allow bass and treble to be processed independently; so then bass kicks wouldn't compress high notes as much in music. I use poweramp equalizer on my android phone as a compressor and it's frequency knob works great this way at 185Hz. For chrome on desktop, I currently use the Bass Boost: HD Audio extension, but it's just an inefficient workaround.
Would it be possible to develop dual-band compression to this extension? That would be perfect! Thank you for your work!
