Description
Some external links in the "Great Resources" appendix are dead, incorrect or disorderly.
- Advances in Real-Time Rendering in Games course from SIGGRAPH 2020: correct URL https://advances.realtimerendering.com/s2020/, the link for "Rendering the Hellscape of Doom Eternal" has "index.htm" at the end which is incorrect (404).
- NVIDIA papers: site reorganized with old content lost or deliberately deleted, but a lot is archived by the Wayback Machine.
"GPU Driven Rendering" (http://on-demand.gputechconf.com/gtc/2016/presentation/s6138-christoph-kubisch-pierre-boudier-gpu-driven-rendering.pdf) can still be found at https://web.archive.org/web/20160803204241/http://on-demand.gputechconf.com/gtc/2016/presentation/s6138-christoph-kubisch-pierre-boudier-gpu-driven-rendering.pdf - NVIDIA Nsight debugger: the current link is for the Visual Studio plugin, but there are other plugins (Visual Studio Code, Eclipse) and other related tools.
Linking to the Nsight home page at https://developer.nvidia.com/tools-overview or to all important tools in the suite might be more generally useful. - There are both https://gpuopen.com/vulkan/ as "Radeon tools. Profilers and debuggers from AMD." and https://gpuopen.com/ as "GPU Open AMD graphics resources and blogposts."; it is good to link both (the hub of what is relevant to Vulkan and the overview of all Radeon tools and documentation), but maybe they should go together.
- NVIDIA Gameworks: now redirects to https://developer.nvidia.com/industries/game-development
- OurMachinery blog: dead and gone, but archived by the Wayback Machine.
