Improve numeric textfields

Provide a popup (like train schedule uses), containing a textfield and a slider.

This way it is possible to validate the input and keep them within their ranges in a more intuitive way..

Is this still a live issue?

it is an idea that still would improve the uX (a little). I am just not very motivated to implement it (as I personally know the restrictions and don't fill in wrong values).
