Issues after composer upgrade

Describe the bug

I have two sites that I did upgrades on this morning. Formie was not an included update. Both were working fine until I ran composer update. Then they both crashed. If I disable the formie plug-in (via the general.php) file, then they both come back up (without form functionality, of course). The composer update did include one for formie

Upgrading verbb/formie (dev-craft-5 15f11ef => dev-craft-5 b82a609)

I tried to delete the composer.lock file and regenerate with no luck.

I tried changing my composer.json file to use formie version 3.1.6 with no luck

• Custom Form Templates: No

5.8.21

Plugin version

dev-craft-5 as 3.0.30 (also tried 3.1.6)

I'd say, unless you need it, switch back to a versioned release i.e 3.1.6 - but I note you've tried that.

What was the exact issue or error though? You mentioned it "crashed"?

OK, so it's working now. I had checked the control panel before and didn't get any messages. Once I disabled the plugin and got into the control panel, I enabled it again but this time got a prompt that I needed to finish updating the database. When I did that, everything starting working as expected. 🤷🏻‍♂️
