Internal packages depend on each other

Hi everyone— running into an issue where one internal package depends on another, and getting an error from files not being transpiled:

Module parse failed: Unexpected token (5:5)
You may need an appropriate loader to handle this file type, currently no loaders are configured to process this file. See https://webpack.js.org/concepts#loaders

Any ideas how to handle this?
