Subscribe for events

Verse only has Await for events.

To listen to events, one must mimic subscription using Await inside tasks and loops, which is messy in bigger projects.

Even in Epic’s own tutorial on using event fields in a UMG widget here, has build helper functions and custom loops just to simulate subscription behavior.

Having Subscribe would:

• Let us listen to events without suspending the main execution flow
• Allow multiple systems to listen to the same event cleanly
• Remove the need for bloat wrapper functions and extensions
• Let us subscribe/unsubscribe without needing separate cancellation events just to stop tasks
