Hi. I am not sure whether this project is alive or not... Last commit was more than a year ago, and there's a PR that's been open for months without any feedback.
I've added a small PR to fix an issue that was blocking me from being able to use this dialect with Alembic. I had issues with running the tests, since the base image used by the Vertica image is VERY old and the yum repos need to be updated.
I'd be happy to help (fix for that is quick), but before I go and spend some time on it, it would be great to know if this effort will eventually make to the package at all... 😅
