True mic state differing from overlay

If I alt-tab out game, Battlefield 6 in fullscreen, and then back to the game again, the overlay sometimes disappear.

If I then hit my hotkey again to toggle mic on/off, the overlay is visible in-game again, but it now shows incorrect state. The correct sound plays and the systray icon is also correct. I'm running with the overlay always on.

My impression is that when the overlay disappears and then reappear, it remembers the mic state it last knew when it was visible.

The overlay disappearing doesn't happen anymore. But the mic state becoming out of sync still happens, and alt-tabing out of the game is not the problem.

Just now, I quit BF6 and exited Silence.
Started Silence, mic was stated as muted.
Started Battlefield 6, and didn't even enter into the main game menu, just the intro startscreen.
Hit my toggle-key.
The un-muted sound is triggered, but the overylay icon is not changed to un-muted.

I alt-tabbed out of the game and hit my toggle-key and the Silence systray icon says un-muted, but not the overlay, they become out of sync and I have to restart Silence to sync again.

I tried changing my regular hotkey to alt-CAPSLOCK, and that produced the same result. I've also tried re-installing and have reset my settings.
