Want to switch to the appimage and I don't have the original build directory that I used.

This should work: https://docs.vicinae.com/install/script#uninstall

If not then:

rm -rf /usr/bin/vicinae

rm -rf ~/.config/vicinae

rm -rf ~/.cache/vicinae

rm -rf ~/.local/share/vicinae
