How do I preload HLS or Dash videos?

I have a set of hls and dash video that needs to be played one after the other, how can I preload the HLS files even if it's a little segment so that the browser can start playing immediately they click the video or move to next video?

The short answer is there's never going to be a seamless transition from one video source to another. You could try something like plugin-concat, but that doesn't work in all environments (for example, iOS on iPhones). A hacky approach might be to have multiple players and show/hide them with CSS in order to simulate swapping from one video to another, but I expect that would still not be totally seamless.

A better approach would be stitching streams together on the back-end into a single unified stream.
