Note: most of the properties that have been marked as deprecated in 1.5 are now removed!

w2base (new class)

• all components inherit from w2base , which provide event functionality
• if you have a custom event to trigger, here is the right way to do it

class MyClass extends w2base {
  customMethod() {
      let edata = this.trigger('myEvent', { custom: 'properties' })
      ...
      /* body of the function */
      ...
     edata.finish()
  }
}

w2event (new class)

• use event.detail for all custom properties, used to be attached to the event object
• await event.complete -preferred way, but still can use event.done(func) and .event.onComplete = func

w2tooltip (new class)

• tooltips and overlays are completely rewritten with DOM observers (see https://w2ui.com/web/demos/#/utils/15)
• Color, Date, Menu tooltips all extend Tooltip

w2layout

• layout.content - deprecated
• panel.callback -> panel.removed
• panel.onContent -> panel.onChange

w2field

• w2field.normMenu -> w2utils.normMenu
• w2field.clear() -> w2field.reset()
• $().w2field(...) and addType(...)- deprecated. You should doclass myType extends w2field {...}`
• enum fields: defining onNew is no longer enough to add arbitrary items. You need to set options.autoAdd: true now.

w2grid

• recordHeight: default changed from 24 to 32 ( #914e2be3 )
• onUnselect - deprecated, use onSelect which is called anytime selection changes

w2form

• focus can be a string
• applyFocus() -> setFocus()
• `setFocus()takes an optional string/integer argument and returns the focused element (orundefined`` if the index/field could not be focused)
• msgNotJSON - deprecated
• msgAJAXerror - deprecated

• added openMaximized

w2utils

• w2utils.event - deprecated
• Accessing "missing" translations via w2utils.lang will by default result in a warning being logged to the console. You can change this behavior in the w2utils settings.
