Node from outside Hetzner

Hi,

I was unsure if I should create a discussion out of this or not, so please bear with me.
I was thinking about how it would be possible to add a node from outside Hetzner? E.g. a VM on my own machine, to offload some GPU work?

Would this be possible? I've tried to search the docs but it doesn't mention this unfortunately.

E.g. would getting the master token be enough and running

Hi, you could have an external node join the cluster, but with some restrictions:

• You cannot just use the master url and the token; you need all the agent node settings as with the other nodes, which you'd need to extract to the config, or you can just edit the source code to have it print the full agent join command when running the tool. I think I will add a command for this in a future release
• The cluster must have been created without using a Hetzner private network, otherwise the external node won't be able to join for obvious reasons
• The external nodes would be excluded as targets for Hetzner's load balancers, and would not be able to access Hetzner's block storage.

The first one is super easy, but the 2 and 3 are strict requirements.
