I intend to use Ubuntu 22 LTS until 2026 before changing to some other distribution. Probably this is intentional. Would you recommend using the AppImage releases instead? |

Yes, Ubuntu 22.04 can no longer run novelWriter due to its older Qt6 libraries. AppImage is the only option, aside from installing novelWriter as a Python package directly in a virtual env. |
