When I write with OpenOffice Writer, I use the built-in "Quotations" paragraph style in such cases. The contrasting font is defined in the document template. |

No, it's not really a problem. There's already a feature request for it: #1776 If implemented as a shortcode, it will have next to no impact on the editor, and all that is needed is additional logic in the text tokenizer and the respective output formats. The tokenizer can handle it with very little modification. I think the best option is to implement it as a fixed pitch option separately from an alternative style option. I think it can be generalised as a way to allow user-defined styles that can be exported to ODT, DocX and HTML as styles/classes. |

I have a story in which occasionally a song occurs. I would like to have that song in a different font in the output (when built for LibreOffice, for example). Normal text would be one font, while the text of the song would be in another font.
Is this beyond the scope of NovelWriter, too difficult to implement, or otherwise an issue?
