First of all, this is an appreciation post. I recently discovered NoverWriter, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Some writing apps have a confusing interface or are difficult to understand. Others are only available online, and many require a subscription and have AI integration.
NovelWriter, however, is beautiful and simple yet powerful.
I am testing version 2.7 RC and I really like the new icons.
I am also excited to see that there will be an .rpm option for us Fedora users — thank you!
One suggestion I would like to make is for a feature similar to the Google Chrome extension called 'Writing Habit', which displays the word count alongside goals and statistics on the right-hand side of the page. I think someone has already requested something like that. This would be very useful to me, as it's the only feature I miss from Google Docs.
