LB (VirtualMachineService) should allow to specify a port range (e.g. 1000-5000) for traffic be forwarded on to the destination VMs to the same set of ports (e.g. 1000-5000).
Is there anything else you would like to add?
This feature is useful for upstream to be able to derive meaning from port number itself and perform its business logic (instead of similar but alternative mechanisms like SNI sniffing -- mysql for example is known to not be compatible).
Support for AVI backend would be appreciated as well.
