gov vm.create -version option does not seem to work?

When running this command, -version does not seem to work. Should this option be working or is it a known bug?

You would need to pass the correct virtual hardware version for the ESX version.

For instance:

-version="vmx-19"

I did try vmx-19, but when that didn't fix my issue, The VM does not see the attached .iso I select any compatibility above 7.0.2 manually. With govc the issue is replicated regardless of the version setting it both ways but manually creating works. I thought this was related to it not accepting a valid version option, but I guess it's a different bug I am experiencing.

This is what govc vm.create shows as valid options for -version, as a fyi.

-version= ESXi hardware version [2|3|4|5.0|5.1|5.5|6.0|6.5|6.7|6.7.2|7.0|7.0.1|7.0.2|8.0|8.0.1|8.0.2]

Could the problem be that device.cdrom.add only works with IDE and not SATA? When I create the VM manually, the controller for the cdrom is SATA.
