Add resolution scaling support for Fedora ARM guests in VMware Fusion on Apple Silicon #780

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Yes. I’m running Fedora-Workstation-Live-43-1.6.aarch64.iso on VMware-Fusion-25H2-24995814_universal installed on an Apple MacBook Air M4. The Fedora ARM guest is locked at 1024x768 resolution, with no ability to scale or change it. This severely limits usability.
I’ve confirmed that open-vm-tools is installed and running inside Fedora, but resolution remains fixed. By contrast, my Windows 11 ARM VM on the same hardware scales perfectly and uses the full display.

Describe the solution you'd like

Please add support for dynamic resolution scaling or higher preset resolutions for Fedora ARM guests in VMware Fusion. Ideally, Fedora should be able to match the host display resolution or offer multiple scaling options, similar to Windows ARM guests.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Tried switching between Wayland and Xorg
Attempted custom modelines (resulted in BadName errors)
Verified open-vm-tools installation and version
Searched for display driver modules or kernel flags with no success

Additional context

Fedora is my preferred daily OS, and I’d like to use it full-time on Apple Silicon. This resolution issue is the only blocker.
